- Autobahn Munich - Salzburg, exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein - Steinpaß through the Salzachtal - Zell am See - (Gerlos pass –free of charge!)

- Autobahn Munich - Kufstein, Kitzbühel – Thurn Pass - Mittersill, Neukirchen, Krimml - (Gerlos pass – free of charge!)

- Autobahn Munich/Vienna - Salzburg - exit Bischofshofen, Zell am See via Salzachtal to Taxenbach, Rauris, Neukirchen - (Gerlos pass – free of charge!)

By train:

- Railway station Zell am See and continue with the Krimmler Railway to Krimml (narrow-gauge railway) or with postbus or railway bus.

- Railway station Schwarzach (express station) or Taxenbach, continue by bus to Embach/Lend or Rauris.
